I grew up on a working horse ranch in California. Spent time as a vet assistant, and farrier's assistant during several summers to see how I liked those jobs. I have worked with over 20 different breeds from hot Arabians to extremely large drafts and even some minis. I have experience running a stallion barn and a boarding stable. I know many people do not like the answer that every horse is different and they have individual unique personalities so answering questions about individual animals is difficult unless you know the animal personally, but its the truth.

This picture is of my last mare a few months before her 30th birthday, she was born the ugliest chestnut in October of 1985, she was very small and never grew over 14.2hh. When I was 10 years old and she was 5 years old my mother was like if you don't do anything with her, I am going to sell her because she is to small for anyone else. So I started all her groundwork, driving, saddle, bridle, in-hand, and eventually being the first to ride her. Trained in dressage, because that was the discipline my mother preferred, I would have loved to run barrels on her. Her mother was an amazing multi-disciplined appaloosa mare and her TB father trained in grand prix show jumping and dressage, however he had racing bloodlines back to Man O' War and Native Dance.
