Negative Thoughts
There’s a reason God wants you to have a positive attitude because what you think, controls your life. If you allow negativity to camp out and live in your head, it will destroy you mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. You’ll lose the ability to even discern truth, believing the devil's lies that you’re not good enough, talented enough, or you just don’t measure up. Your thoughts are powerful and can control your feelings, emotions, words, and even actions. Every single aspect of your life will be affected. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 4:23, “Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life.” Bottom line - the quality of your thoughts determines the quality of your life. Make no mistake, negativity robs you of your happiness and peace. People with purpose, goals, and visions have no time for drama. They invest their energy in creativity and focus on living a positive life. Negative thinking will never make your life positive. Just because your circumstances may not be ideal does not mean you have to be negative. Treat possibilities as probabilities. There is always hope in Jesus! Walk by faith! Pray for a fresh breath of optimism! Ask God to transform your life with a renewed faith that no matter what you are going through you can be optimistic, positive, and confident, for when you intentionally allow the Holy Spirit to control your thoughts - your life will change as well.
