The vet/surgeon here wants to evaluate
ElDorado overnight before doing the surgery.
She wants to make sure we take the best overall approach for his best interest. He is doing well and so far indications are that he does not have any small intestines in his ingruinal ring. She wants to watch him tonight and if they can get away with doing a minor repair from the outside that would be best. If not they will have to make two to three incisions and repair everything from the inside. In any case he will probably be here for 3 to 4 days or more depending on how they have to proceed.
