I need some help in understanding the cameras. Is there something I must do when the camera isn't working or is always on their end? Can anyone confirm all the cameras are not working or am I doing something dumb?

I need some help in understanding the cameras. Is there something I must do when the camera isn't working or is always on their end? Can anyone confirm all the cameras are not working or am I doing something dumb?
If ALL of the cameras are down then it’s either the internet is out, electricity (in turn the internet) is out or the company that we have the cameras on the internet through is doing some updates.(the ones that have the notice up on the cameras sometimes). Now when all the cameras work but certain cameras don’t……that means the camera itself is out and needs to be replaced.
