I am slowly getting my little irish cob back into work after she had to have alot of her frog removed on both right hooves due to a bad bout of thrush :( Feeling like the worse horse human in existence for it getting to bad but it was pretty quick esclating and when the farrier pared it back it was really bad underneath which i would never have seen with my own eye :(
I have been there as well and understand. We try to do good by them and when we don’t it hurts our soul. Give yourself some grace and keep trying. It’s all we can do.
