Friends, Tango is home.
I somehow managed the strength to drag out the 8 blankets, returned meds and food, and two large dog baskets/bins of dog toys, and get them in the car. I think Tango helped.
I drove to the hospital and as I awaited them to come out I literally saw what appeared to be Tango's reflection in their door. It did not go away until they opened the door.
They gave me his paw prints, one with 3 toes she said, and one with all toes! I have to bake them. His 2020 amputation of a toe never bothered him.
Now he is home where he belongs, with me.
I think he's happy to be back. RIP dear Tango.
